Fully automated appraisal
Problem
Although the preparation of the reports represents only a small part of the entire range of services of the organization, it takes a disproportionately high amount of time. Especially the research process, which accounts for about a quarter of the report, takes about 70% of the total processing time. The research follows a clearly defined template with standardized evaluation criteria, which offers a certain structure, but must be carried out manually – cross-project, repetitive and hardly scalable efficiently. This ties up significant human resources that would be urgently needed in other project priorities.
Solution
Using an automated workflow based on n8n, AI-supported copywriting (OpenAI) and intelligent research (Perplexity AI), the assessment process was largely digitalized. The solution takes over:
-
extracting relevant data from existing documents,
-
carrying out targeted risk research on relevant topics
-
the automated creation of consistent text modules incl. scoring and reasoning,
-
as well as the evaluation and integration of public media reporting.
The assessment shall be objective, fact-based and fully documentable.
Through the use of the personal AI assistant, the management of Lara Future DK was able to make more targeted use of their daily working hours and completely outsource repetitive tasks. Especially in the coordination of appointments, e-mail preparation and day planning, there was a noticeable relief.
The gained overview and automation led to a Increase in productivity by around 20%, especially through clearer prioritization, faster decision-making processes and fewer manual routines. The result: More focus on strategy and growth – with the same team size.
Result
Due to the introduction of automated appraisal, the time required per project report could be reduced from several hours to less than one hour, while maintaining the same depth of content and significantly higher consistency.
The time gained is now used for deepening content and quality assurance. At the same time, the process can be easily scaled to a large number of projects, which is essential especially with scarce resources and a growing number of expert opinions.
